Great job overall. Adam was very responsive throughout the project and was always available for questions or concerns. He was very knowledgeable about materials and construction techniques and offered suggestions and opinions to help us get the best deck for our money - one that we would be happy with in the future. Any questions or problems were handled very quickly and to our satisfaction. A pleasure to work with, and we'll be using them again in the future.

Schrager and his team replaced our Reston-standard wood deck with a brand new outdoor living space! We never thought that an updated design using modern materials could improve the usability of our outdoor space this much. And our 2 year old daughter simply loves playing on the splinter and bug free Trex surface. We have dealt with a lot of contractors in the past and this was by far the smoothest job yet. Schrager walked us through each step of the process, from design thru construction. His team was courteous and professional and finished the job on time and on budget. From the initial planning of our kitchen addition and renovation, it was a pleasure working with Adam. He listened to all of our requests and needs and incorporated them all in the design of our space. His design approach was very creative, yet he made sure the design was functional. During a nasty storm in the Spring, a huge tree fell on my gazebo. We had several estimates and from those estimates and listening to the different approaches to repairing the damage, we chose Adam Schrager’s design and estimate. Adam was the fairest and his plan made the most sense. He told us the gazebo needed to be torn down and rebuilt. Our gazebo is larger than normal, and his plan called for a sturdier base that would support the large roof and may prevent the amount of damage should another tree fall. The work was accomplished in a timely manner and Adam was always responsive to our questions. He gave us many design ideas to make the gazebo more elegant. We were pleased with his crew led by Mike, who was also responsive to calls and questions.The experience was positive on all levels and we would not hesitate to contract with Adam for future projects in our home.

It was such a surprise to have a contractor that knew how to communicate with us. He was available around the clock to answer questions. He kept us informed of schedules and any necessary changes as they arose. They did a great job in keeping all of the dirt and dust confined to the work area. We were so happy with his work in our kitchen that we used him to build our custom deck. He was very helpful in the planning and design phase as well as remained attentive until project completion. The quality of his work far exceeded the price we paid. I would highly recommend Adam and his team to anyone thinking of a home improvement project.

Vulga Blue level 4 granite with bullnose edging. Added server/nook separating the kitchen from the family room. Extended island to include two garbage receptacles. Stainless steel undermount sink with Grohe faucet. Recessed light throughout with pendant lighting over the server.

Adam was fantastic. He had great ideas and worked our ideas in as well. Would highly recommend.

Basement remodel: included bathroom, bedroom, wet bar, exercise area, surround sound, volume controls, plasma tv installation. Lighting: 40 recessed lights on multiple 3-way dimmers, 4 fans with remotes and wall controls, cabinet lights and various fixtures. Wet bar: included granite, undermount sink, garbage disposal and wine fridge. Stair wall was removed and replaced with wrought iron balusters and an oak railing.

I can't imagine getting any better service and craftsmanship than what we received from Schrager General Contracting. I would recommend them to anyone for any project.

I highly recommend Schrager and would definitely use their services in the future. All work was completed on time and the deck they constructed looks great and is definitely a quality piece of work. One is always apprehensive when working with a new contractor for the first time. Once I received the professionally created CAD drawings for my new deck from Adam, I knew that I had the right contractor. Although we needed to wait for approval from the "Association", the team was patient with the process. Even when the original plans were modified, first by the "Association" and then additionally by me, the team adapted with the necessary changes, ultimately creating a beautifully designed and built deck. Everyone on the team was professional, willing to discuss their progress and very knowledgeable in their trade. If anyone is thinking of a new deck, Trex is the way to go and Schrager General Contracting is the one to design and build it for you.
